Dwarf palm

The Dwarf palm is a native to the Eastern United States. This palm tree can tolerate temperatures below 0 degrees F and makes the list of the most cold hardy palms. Native to South of US it can be successfully grown in northern regions.
The dwarf palm rarely grows in height, it is a very small comparaed to other types of palm trees. It has a subterranean trunk and small fan shaped leaves.
The Dwarf palm does weel in tropical regions and indoors as potted plants.

Queen Palm

Queen palm is a fast growing palm tree, scientific name Syagrus romanzoffiana. It is probably the most commonly used species of palm tree in tropical and subtropical landscapes. Queen palm has a straight, ringed trunk and a graceful crown of glossy, bright green, soft, pinnate leaves. It is reasonable cold hardy. Queen palm grows the best under ful sunlight exposure. Dead leaves require pruning to remove.
